Reblooming hollyhocks |
Summer seems well past with near freezing temperatures a couple of mornings this week and now two wind storms. Tomorrow may bring as strong of winds as we've seen in ten years. I'm not too worried about damage in our yard, we don't have any big trees, but this is probably it for most of the summer flowers. I managed to get outside to enjoy them in a brief break from the pouring rain this afternoon.

What will be left by November? My guess is zinnias and maybe a few late roses.
